Very unusual hand carved Elk tooth Cameo Pin Broach. Beautifully carved Elizabethean Lady Cameo. Excellent detail. There are 3 Rose cut diamonds on each side for a total of 6 pts. (approximately 1pt each). Early 1900's piece, all hand made. FYI ...The Cameo is carved the whole way through so I tried to show this by putting on blue fabric so you can see how the fabric shows through the pin. Also if you look closely at the blue picture you will see the white frame of outline just inside the right side of the Gold frame. I believe the cameo area to be carved from Elk tooth.
